About Myself - Captain Andy Austin

I am a 3rd Generation Captain and Fishing Guide based in St. Petersburg, Florida. My lineage and passion derives from my Late Grandfather Captain Billy Knowles who is an IGFA Hall of Fame inducted Fishing Guide who spent over 60 years Guiding Anglers in Islamorada, Florida.

I have spent my entire life fishing and have ample experience in both Saltwater and Freshwater. I have amassed experience in Fishing for almost all notable species to include Tarpon, Snook, Flounder, Redfish, Speckled Seatrout, Groupers, Cobia, Sharks, King/Spanish Mackerel, Tripletail, Snapper, and every Freshwater Species you can think of. 

 

Lately I have focused mostly on Fly Fishing and have ample experience in Sight Casting for Inshore Species. I am in peak physical condition and will be able to pole you around the Flats of St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay for as long as needed to get you your dream catch on Fly.
